Blue Oak Architecture LLC is a boutique architectural firm based in Boulder, Colorado, specializing in custom residential design. My primary focus is creating unique, livable homes that not only reflect your wishes but also enhance your lifestyle. Founder, Brad Dassler-Bethel, is a licensed architect with the State Architectural Licensing Board of Colorado and is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

With a deep passion for residential architecture, my journey began with inspiration from my grandfather. He was a master builder whose strong work ethic and immense love for the homes he built shaped my approach to design. His influence has taught me the value of combining creativity, dedication, and care in every project.

I pursued internships in construction and architecture throughout high school, which further fueled my passion for residential design. In 2003, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design with my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Architecture, laying the foundation for a career focused on designing exceptional homes.

My professional career began in Atlanta, Georgia, where I designed high-end custom homes along the East Coast, working with prominent architects and design professionals for over twelve years. This experience gave me valuable skills and insight, which empowered me to establish my architecture firm in 2016. A few years later, I relocated my firm to Boulder, Colorado, leading to the founding of Blue Oak Architecture LLC.

Dedicated to offering high-quality architectural design services along the Front Range and neighboring communities, Blue Oak Architecture prides itself on providing personalized, unique design solutions that perfectly suit clients' needs. I bring a high level of craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail to every project, from initial concept to completion.

Outside the design studio, I enjoy spending time outdoors - hiking and biking in the nearby mountain trails - and being surrounded by the beauty of Colorado’s nature. My wife and I share a love for travel - exploring the world's cultures, cuisines…and of course, the architecture. No matter where our travels take us, we cherish returning home to a space that feels truly ours. Most evenings, you will find us at the heart of our home, cooking delicious meals together, reflecting the sense of warmth and community that inspires all my designs.
